Leadership Resources

The skills you build as a P.E.O. member – including public speaking, project planning, working as part of a team and goal setting – transfer to other areas in your life. P.E.O. helps you become stronger in your career, your family and any other organizations you are a part of.

The P.E.O. Leadership Development Committee has created resources on topics such as creating dynamic presentations, conflict resolution, project planning and more. These trainings are available to active P.E.O. members.

P.E.O. Leadership Development Committee Mission Statement

The mission of the P.E.O. Leadership Development Committee is to provide educational, supportive and enriching leadership resources for current and potential leaders at the local, state/provincial/district and International levels.

Lead Your Way

A benefit of P.E.O. is that it grows with you! You can get more involved or stay at the same pace. As you grow with P.E.O., you’ll find your personal connection to the Sisterhood grows as well.

You do not need to be an officer to share your strengths with the Sisterhood. From the moment you become a P.E.O., there are ways you can be a leader in your chapter.

Present a Chapter Program

Share your special talent, talk about a hobby or choose a ready-to-go chapter program from the Resource Library.

Invite a Guest

You must be a P.E.O. for at least one year before you can sponsor someone for membership, but you can always invite guests to socials and other events.

Reach Out to Nonparticipating and Inactive Members

Make your sisters feel valued! Think of ways to help all members feel included.

Host or Co-Host a Chapter Meeting

Work with another sister to ensure everything is ready for your local chapter meeting.

Reach for the Stars

If higher leadership is one of your goals, follow this path of progression all the way up to International Chapter President!

Create the Leadership Team your chapter deserves!
